Dear Child of God,
We are nearly half way through the month of December, the month of Finishing Well. The Bible tells us that the end of a matter is better than the beginning. And I want to encourage you, that if right now you are staring discouragement in the face, if right now you are battling with voices of negativity, if you feel like cracking under the pressure, if you feel like running away and hiding from it all, well THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET BETTER!
Yes, you may be experiencing crisis right now, it could be physical, financial, mental, marital, whatever it is, but that crisis is about to push you to your promotion.
God never designed things to break us, but to build us, to grow us, to make us better. When you are someone whom God has prearranged your destiny, then you need to understand there are situations that you will go through; in fact, things that God himself will allow or even align, in order for you to go through so you can come out on the other side.
But it’s when we are at that moment that we feel like giving up; it’s at that moment when we feel like we just can’t take it anymore; we must remember the promise of God
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (Isaiah 43:2-3)
Too many Christians today just want to hear good news. But when you find yourself in the centre of God’s will, it is not full of everything good. The end is good, but the middle is messy. It’s painful. It’s uncomfortable. We want the good, but to get the good, you have to get through the tears, the struggles, the betrayal, the rejection, the trials.
And this is what God is saying in Isaiah. He’s speaking to His people to say that I have already redeemed you. There are some things you will go through, but when you go through them, I want you to have faith that God can deliver you from them. When you pass through the water; the Bible doesn’t say if, it says when. When means one of these days you will have to go through a situation.
But I want you to get yourself ready because crisis always comes at the curve of promotion. Joseph had to go through crisis for him to be promoted. Abraham, Moses, David, Gideon, Daniel, Jesus, Peter, Mary, they all went through their own crisis. They all had their moments when they felt as if they were all alone. But instead of giving up, they gave in to God and allowed Him to take over.
I want you to know that you are not alone. It may feel as though God has turned His back, but that’s because He has so much confidence you will pull through. He’s merely turned to look the devil in the face so He can see his reaction when you win this. You’ve got this. It is well and greater and better is up ahead!
