I greet you in the name of the Almighty God, whose Spirit is at work even within these words, to touch you and heal you where you stand. 

I’ve been in prayer for you today, and as my faithful partner in the gospel, I want you to know that everything is going to be okay. 

That season of darkness that has seemed to hover over you these last few months, even few years, is coming to an end. I see a break of day arising, and suddenly there is going to be light. Light over your situation to understand, light to discern the wisdom of God, light to hear what He is speaking to you. I see light over your body, things are going to feel lighter physically. Some of the tasks you have been entrusted with have been so challenging and have even taken a physical toll on you, but I see that burden being eased. I see it becoming light. 

There is a season you have been in in which that cloud of darkness has been so heavy upon you, to the point where you didn’t know if you could even go on any more, but I see that heavy weight of oppression being removed, and being replaced with a new yoke. A yoke that is light, a yoke that is easy. 

Today, I hear the Lord say: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.” (Matthew 11:29-30) 

And what is this yoke of the Lord that you are to bear? It is a yoke of surrender, it is a yoke that says yes to the Lord, and no to what the enemy is trying to do. It is a yoke that says yes to His gentle voice, and no to the raging screams of the enemy. It is a yoke that requires you to remove your eyes from every distraction of the enemy, (the lies, negative thoughts, even physical attacks), and keep them focused on the face of Jesus, (on His grace, on His ways, on His love and mercy). It is a yoke that asks you to come away from all that fights for your time, and give yourselves to Him. 

In that surrender, the Mighty Sun shines through every darkness, and overcomes. 

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5)

On the cloudiest days, when the sky is dark and gloomy, I always remind myself that despite what we see or feel, those clouds can never stop the sun from shining. It is there whether we see it or not. 

In the same way, beloved, though that season of darkness has been hovering over you, God’s power and His presence have never left. But now, I saw those clouds breaking, and His light pouring through, and there was a huge relief. 

Yes as you turn your eyes on Him, and refuse to focus on what the enemy is doing, His peace is going to lead you down a new path. But you must stay in Him. Stay focused on Him. Just like Peter, don’t take your eyes off him. When thoughts come, or situations arise that want to cause you to focus again on the reality, continue to turn your eyes up towards Him. Focus on Him instead, on His grace, on His power, on His presence, on His healing, on what He is doing. Then His light will shine upon your ways.

Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. (Job 22:27-28)

Child of God, this Friday is our Healing & Deliverance Miracle Service. When Jesus was here on earth, each night the crowds would flock to Him and be healed of whatever issue they were facing.
