Dear Child of God,
Did You Know That The Degree To Which You Will Receive Accurate Dreams From God Is Directly Connected To The Strength Of Your Inner Man?
As we have been speaking for more than a week on the importance of dreams, no doubt you have probably seen more activity in your dreams than before.
But with this revelation comes also the need for wisdom and responsibility.
Not every dream you have is from God, and it takes an understanding heart to be able to divide between what is of God and what is of the devil and what is coming from your own sub-conscious or even surroundings.
For example, if you stay up late watching movies before falling asleep, you are most likely going to dream about something to do with that movie. The same thing goes for reading a book. If your room is not clean, dirty laundry is laying around, or even food left behind, that can often influence your dreams in a negative way. Dreams like this do not need interpretation, they need to just be disregarded.
On the other side, when your inner man is not strong, you can become vulnerable to demonic activity through your dreams. And often these can work to interrupt a dream from the Lord so that you miss what God is saying.
It’s important to also understand that just because a dream is bad does not mean it’s from the enemy; it can be a way for God to warn you of an impending danger; or alert you to something that needs to be prayed about.
But unless your inner man is strong, it’s going to be difficult to discern between what is what, leaving you confused.
Paul prayed, For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (Ephesians 3:16)
Child of God, when your inner man is strong, you can be able to resist demonic activity in your dreams; instead of succumbing to it, you will be able to stand up against it and overcome.
When your inner man is strong, you will be able to hear from God more accurately through your dreams. Your dreams will become more clearly; there will be less demonic interruption.
That is why I need you to begin to pray, just like Paul, that God would begin to strengthen your inner man. Start respecting your inner man. Just like you nourish your physical body with food, begin to also nourish your spiritual man.
One of the ways you can do that is to pray on a regular basis; you can pray in the Spirit and pray also in English. As you make that prayer time a consistent habit, you will go from strength to strength; from faith to faith.
