Dear Child of God,

When God spoke to Abraham, he revealed the truth about his future, and told him that his descendants would be enslaved for 400 years. Probably not the best news he received that day. But Abraham walked so closely with God, he trusted God so much, that God was free to speak the truth; God was able to reveal his future because Abraham was able to receive it. 

As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. (Genesis 15:12-13)

Today many of us we don’t want to hear the truth. And that is why God often will only reveal very little at a time, because if you knew what was up ahead, you would quit before you even got started. 

There is no path to success, no path to victory, without challenges, pain, and struggle. It is in the Bible, and in every story of anybody that ever achieved anything in life. You cannot have stars without scars; you cannot have testimonies without tests. 

But today, I saw God is asking, are you willing to be open so that I can share with you the next steps that you need to take? Then you must begin to respect your dreams. When you go to sleep, get a notepad so that you can write them down as soon as you wake up. The more you begin to expect God to speak to you through your dreams, you will find yourself dreaming more. Your dreams will become purified so that you can benefit from them. 

You cannot decide your assignment in life, but you can discover it. And it is through your dreams. But you must be willing to receive.

Jesus said that “As I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” (John 5:30) 

This is the real secret to hearing God; when you desire His will more than your own. 

Child of God, it is through dreams that you discover your assignment. There are important things the Lord wants to seal in your life this year, but you must get serious about your dreams. For thus says the Lord, this year through your dreams, 

Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. (Luke 3:5)

Yes, this year things will become clear through your dreams. This year, every crooked area of your life will be made straight. Through your dreams God will seal the instructions you need in order to make every rough way smooth.
